Crystal’s Notations:
– There is a city in Germany called Reisbach located in southeastern modern day Germany, Bavaria to be specific, according to the Wikipedia entry. I am unsure if this has any significance but wanted to note it here. The German Wikipedia page has more information on the city, but it’s in German.
My wife Katharina Bertha House died in 2007 in Berkshire. England. Her mother was Bertha Huber and she came from a family Huber who lived at a Water Mill near Reisbach, she was born about 1885 and was the youngest in a large family the head of which owned the mill. The mill was burnt down in about 1900 and Bertha came to England in about 1910.
I am keen to correspond with someone with knowledge of your local history as ,with my wifes death. there is nobody left in England who is related to Bertha Huber.
I look forward to hearing from you by email. My age is 79 and I was married to Katharina for 54 happy years so you can understand my interest.
